Padahal, efektivitasnya terbukti nyata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sering pula disebut sebagai <em>telesales<\/em>, <em>telemarketing<\/em> mengacu kepada sistem pemasaran langsung kepada calon pelanggan potensial dengan menggunakan perangkat seperti telepon atau internet. Keberadaannya diyakini mulai ada sejak 1970-an.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Belakangan <em>telemarketing <\/em>mulai ditinggalkan banyak pihak. Cara kerjanya yang dianggap mengganggu calon pelanggan dengan menghubunginya langsung dinilai merugikan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ketika pelanggan tidak bersedia dihubungi, citra perusahaan dikhawatirkan akan memburuk. Selain itu, potensi kegagalannya dipercaya cukup besar. Apakah benar seperti itu?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cara Kerja Telemarketing<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Telemarketing <\/em>dijalankan dengan menghubungi langsung calon pelanggan untuk melakukan penawaran produk atau layanan. Kontak dapat dilakukan melalui sambungan telepon atau internet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pelaku <em>telemarketing<\/em> sering menggunakan data calon pelanggan potensial yang dimiliki. Berangkat dari data-data tersebut, pendekatan langsung bisa dilakukan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Berbagai upaya pemasaran kemudian bisa dijalankan. Pelaku bisnis bisa menjajaki ketertarikan terhadap produk atau layanan, menawarkan program khusus, sampai mengarahkan calon pelanggan agar melakukan pembelian langsung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Namun, secara garis besar, terdapat beberapa cara untuk menjalankan <em>telemarketing.<\/em> Perusahaan bisa memilihnya mana yang terbaik sesuai dengan target yang ingin diraih.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>a. Outbound<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Calon pelanggan atau pelanggan lama dihubungi tanpa perjanjian sebelumnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>b. Inbound<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kontak yang dilakukan setelah calon pelanggan menyatakan ketertarikan terhadap produk atau layanan. Seringkali ini merupakan langkah lanjutan setelah sebelumnya ada kontak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>c. Lead Generation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kontak yang dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan informasi mengenai calon pelanggan potensial seperti profil data diri, ketertarikan, hingga demografinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>d. Sales<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kontak yang bersifat persuasif untuk membujuk calon pelanggan supaya membeli produk atau menggunakan layanan yang ditawarkan. Diharapkan kesepakatan bertransaksi langsung terjadi di telepon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Seberapa Efektif?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sebagai salah satu metode pemasaran, tingkat keberhasilannya tentu menjadi perhatian pelaku bisnis. Namun, banyak pihak yang meyakini <em>telemarketing<\/em> terbukti efektif. Tidak heran, sampai sekarang, sejumlah perusahaan tetap menggunakannya karena masih dinilai relevan untuk konsumen modern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pelaku pemasaran, Sylvain Courcoux, menyebut tingkat konversi <em>telemarketing <\/em>sebesar 1%. Jadi, misalnya melakukannya seribu telepon, maka ada 10 prospek atau calon pelanggan yang diperoleh. Nanti pelaku bisnis bisa menindaklanjutinya untuk menjadi konsumen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sepintas <em>conversion rate <\/em>yang dihasilkan terlihat kecil. Namun, jika diterapkan dalam bidang yang tepat, maka hasilnya akan terbukti efektif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Telemarketing<\/em> akan cocok sekali untuk penjualan produk atau layanan yang harganya bisa menutupi biaya <em>salesperson<\/em>. Maka dari itu, perlu dihitung dulu perkiraaan biaya yang didapat untuk satu akuisisi. Kalkulasi biaya telepon, gaji, hingga lama waktunya untuk memperoleh satu calon pelanggan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jika hasil penjualan bisa menutupinya, maka <em>telemarketing<\/em> layak dicoba. Contohnya jika<em> cost per acquisition<\/em> sebesar Rp1 juta, maka produk atau layanan yang bernilai Rp2 juta akan pas dalam menerapkan <em>telemarketing.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selanjutnya pelaku bisnis bisa pula mengincar calon konsumen yang belum memikirkan produk atau layanannya. Namun, hal yang ditawarkan harus mudah menarik keinginan pelanggan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingat, pelanggan sering kali memutuskan pembelian berdasarkan keinginan, bukan kebutuhannya. <em>Telemarketing<\/em> bisa menjadi cara efektif untuk menjangkau tipe konsumen tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bukan hanya itu, pelaku bisnis dengan target pasar yang tersebar luas bisa pula menjalankan <em>telemarketing<\/em>. Misalnya produk internet untuk rumah. Mereka dapat menghubungi calon pelanggan potensial secara langsung. Hal ini akan lebih efektif dibanding dengan memasang iklan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Singkat kata, <em>telemarketing<\/em> akan efektif jika pelaku bisnis bisa menentukan produk atau layanan yang tepat untuk dipasarkan di sana. Oleh sebab itu, disarankan untuk memperhatikan bidang bisnisnya terlebih dulu.
